Hello friends, I have exciting news! Another local business is displaying some of my works.
Turns out the local Ptbo & Kawartha's Tourism Visitor Centre has an eye for unique one.of.a.kind products. They want to showcase local artisan talent in their gift shop instead of just the cheesy 'lift-locks' paperweights... how cool is that?!
So, if you're looking for some of my pottered neck-clays. wrist cuffs. bird ornaments, or my reversible wood pendants... go check out the Visitor Centre!
A reminder of the other local businesses showing my work are:
Recent Paintings at Parkhill on Hunter Restaurant .
Bird Mobiles at Glow Maternity Studio.
Just keep an eye on my "upcoming shows" page for dates and other information.
Thanks again for stopping in and checking out this crafty mama's nest!
Mel :o)
Awe! Congrats -- that's so wonderful!
ReplyDeletethanks! It's exciting to put myself out there.. and actually see it out there.. you know? ;o)
ReplyDeleteThat's awesome! I actually just heard about a couple that bought a local artisan's work at the Tourist centre to take with them to Australia as gifts for friends/family that are distinctly Peterboroughian in flavour. Sounds like the centre really is trying to give local artists a real push. Great to know you can be found there, too! xox!
ReplyDeletep.s. Michele & I were both wearing our Needle & Nest necklaces when we met up at the Silver Bean last week! Of course, I exclaimed "look at us in our Mels!". :)
ReplyDeletebahaha.. that's so great! Thanks for the 'representing' ... too cute. ;o)
